Amsterdam

OK... I went to Amsterdam ... um like October 2006. The reason it has taken so long to get a post up is because although I took my camera charger with me.... I forgot my camera! How funny!

So these are photos from Schelle's camera!
Here are a couple of photos showing very common amsterdam things... special metal guards intended to prevent drunk men from peeing in the street and also a bike. Both of these things are everywhere!

Apparently these buildings lean foward a bit and there is a hook at the top on the front. This means they can drag things up to the top, without banging into the windows and breaking them!

Lisbon... take 2!

I had the pleasure of visiting Matt and Louise in Lisbon again this year in February and enjoy somewhat warmer weather than I was used to in London.

This costs about EUR2.... unbeliveable! In portugese, a portugese tart is called a Pastel de nata.. which i think translates to cream tart

I'm actually heading back to Lisbon in about 6 weeks (take three) to visit Matt and Louise for one last time as they are heading back home for a few months! I'm practically a local now!
